The largest educational and scientific research center in the field of civil engineering and geodesy in Slovakia. Degrees from the Faculty provide a passport to rewarding professional careers in civil engineering, architecture, geodesy and cartography.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering was founded in 1938 as the first Faculty of the Slovak University of Technology. The principal aim of the Faculty is to provide a high level of education based on Slovakia’s traditional and cultural heritage and the latest scientific knowledge. Graduates can find a broad spectrum of employment in practice or can utilize their expert knowledge in practice.
